After a well-deserved nomination in the category of ‘Rising Star Under 30’, March 2023 saw our very own solicitor and director, Laura Mounsey, make it through to the final of The Stray Ferret Business Awards. We were over the moon for her, and very grateful to The Stray Ferret for recognising such a talent.
The Stray Ferret Business Awards are a celebration of the achievements of businesses within the Harrogate district, businesses across all sectors and industries. Whilst the snow did its best and threatened to jeopardise the evening, The Stray Ferret team met the challenge head on, and ensured that the evening went without a hitch. We had such a wonderful evening.

After her own parents divorced when she was in her teens, Laura has been very open about how her first-hand experience of divorce has played its part in her career choice.
Excelling at law school, she’s continued in that vein, and her career has gone from strength to strength since joining us here at Harrogate Family Law in 2020. This has culminated in her becoming one of the firm’s directors and her input as we continue to grow will be invaluable.
