We’re extremely proud to share that we’ll once again be part of the Harrogate International Festivals team, this year as one of their premier partners, joining the likes of other Harrogate businesses, Rudding Park and Nicholls Tyreman

We are delighted to be renewing as a premier partner and supporting the festivals for another year. Harrogate International Festivals is renowned for putting on a selection of world class entertainment with some of the best industry talent.

As a Harrogate based business, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to play our part in bringing the festival to life once again. As a charity, the Festivals rely on donations, sponsorship and support from local businesses and people, and this helps to make them such a great success.

Harrogate International Festivals

Comprising a series of festivals throughout the summer, Harrogate International Festivals have been bringing a spectacular range of art, music and culture to our town for over 50 years. From crime writing and carnivals to outdoor spectaculars and music, it’s a real celebration of all things culture.

Harrogate Music Festival

Taking place throughout June and July, the music festival takes place over consecutive weekends, showcasing the best of the best in classical, jazz and chamber music.

The popular ‘Spiegeltent’ will be making an appearance again this year, bringing audiences everything from jazz and funk to burlesque.

Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival

For one weekend every year, The Old Swan Hotel is taken over by crime and mystery lovers. If the hotel’s good enough for Agatha Christie to escape to, it’s definitely good enough for us.

This year’s guests include renowned crime writing legends, Val McDermid, Lee Child, Andrew Child, Lisa Jewell, Ruth Ware, Ann Cleeves, Jeffery Deaver, Lucy Worsley, S. A. Cosby and Chris Hammer.

Carnival

Get ready for an explosion of colour, music and delicious food as carnival returns to Valley Gardens once again this summer. The vibrant festival is a family friendly event with tastes, crafts and experiences from all over the world.

Raworths Literature Festival

Rated as one of the top 3 literature festivals by The Guardian, book lovers from all over the country visit this iconic festival to meet their literary heroes. This year’s festivities kick off on October 19th, running through to the 22nd.

Last year’s guests included Countdown’s queen of Dictionary Corner, Susie Dent. We’re excited to see who Harrogate International Festivals have got coming this year.

Outdoor spectaculars

Transforming some of Harrogate’s most loved outdoor spaces, Harrogate International Festivals have put on a range of real treats for the senses, including last year’s Fire and Light Experience. Valley Gardens became a magical forest of dazzling displays.

Make sure you keep an eye out for what’s coming this year. Take plenty of photos and share them with the Harrogate International Festivals team.

We can’t wait for all the festivities to get going, and we’re proud to support such a brilliant local initiative. We hope you’ll join us in supporting Harrogate International Festivals this year, and for many years to come.
